One of our more popular events is back! We're heading to the zoo! We'll be participating in a special 45-minute class all about polar animals, where we'll learn about these incredible creatures and their adaptations to life in the coldest regions of our planet. The highlight of the class? We'll get an up-close encounter with three polar animals brought out just for our group!
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn something new, experience the wonder of wildlife, and connect with fellow members of our Sophie's Potluck community. Whether you're a animal enthusiast or simply curious about the natural world, we'd love to have you join us for this memorable experience.
This was one of our first events, so if the polar animals sound familiar, that's why, but we'll be learning about and meeting different animals this time around! We have been able to confirm that unfortunately, Snowflake the polar bear is not one of them :(
Registration includes the class and entry to the zoo. Friends with zoo memberships still must register to attend.
We at Sophie's Potluck understand that our special needs friends have care beyond family and friends. Many of us have outside resources that would like to attend events, and
while we have many where adults are free to attend, unfortunately this is not one of them and we ask that they register.
